SeniorMechanical Engineer Capabilities in HVAC design including forced-air systems, hydronic/radiant heating, heat pump and geothermal systems, boiler and furnace sizing and associated distribution systems. Will evaluate loads, establish system alternatives, make equipment selections and complete preparation of construction documents. Ability to handle projects from concept through to substantial completion while interacting with clients and guiding supporting team members. Knowledge of current ICC Mechanical codes, ASHRAE and ACCA standards, and other current standards. Licensed PE (or near) with 6+ years experience with a mix of project types and sizes. ElectricalEngineer Experienced in lighting and power system designs for commercial and institutional/industrial projects. Capabilities with power distribution systems, UPS, emergency power, life safety systems, lighting and lighting controls, low voltage systems and mechanical controls. Will determine loads, select equipment, design circuits and prepare schedules and details. Thorough knowledge of current NEC, motor loads, arc flash and grounding systems, and building wiring practices. EIT with 3-5 years or relevant experience on building projects. The ideal candidates will have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Registered EIT or Licensed PE, or on-track for appropriate license
- LEED Accreditation (NC, EB, or Homes)
- Design experience in a variety of HVAC, plumbing, or electrical building systems
- Proficiency with a variety of computational and design software applications (e.g. AutoCAD, DOE-2, HAP, Trace, E20-II, ETAP, etal) as well as office applications.
- Great attitude – highly motivated, analytical problem solver who can work well with a team
